Terms and Conditions

To ensure each customer enjoys a stress - free, very pleasant shopping experience at Minogue Furniture, we have drawn up a list of the most frequent queries from our customers. Please read the following questions and answers - we think you'll find them very helpful.

  1. What deposit do I need to pay?

A minimum deposit of 30 % is required - reduced to clear and sale items require up to 50 %.

  1. How long will Minogue Furniture store furniture for?

Reduced - to - clear furniture (shop floor models etc.) cannot be stored - so they must be delivered on the next delivery day in your area. In general, furniture can be stored for up to 6 weeks.

  1. Will all Furniture be assembled?

In general yes - expect bed frames, which can be assembled for a small fee.

  1. What if the furniture won't fit?

We recommend that our customers check the measurements / dimensions of the areas through which the furniture purchased has to be delivered - (door frames, hallways, etc.) unfortunately we cannot offer a refund if the furniture doesn't fit.

  1. Can I collect my furniture instead of waiting for it to be delivered?

Yes, but you must give a minimum of 2 working days notice to the sales person you originally dealt with, to ensure the furniture is ready for collection.

  1. Having paid a deposit, when must the balance due be paid in full?

All furniture must be paid for in full on the delivery day at the very latest.

  1. What is Minogue furniture policy on order cancellations?

You may only cancel any order placed within 7 days of original order date, by agreement with Minogue Furniture - in which case deposit may be refunded by way of credit note. (Please contact the sales person you originally dealt with, re the above). However, if your order is a special order or is already in production by our supplier, it would not be possible to cancel that particular order.

  1. What exact time and day will I get my delivery?

You will be contacted well in advance of delivery to your area to confirm your delivery day. In relation to time of delivery, factors outside our control can make it impossible to be time specific (e.g. traffic congestion, length of time it takes to complete deliveries to other customers, weather conditions etc. Also, if you contact the shop on the day of your delivery they will give you the phone number of the driver that is delivering your furniture and you can contact him for an approximate delivery time.

  1. Will the furniture be put into whatever room it is required for?

Yes, once clear access is available - however we don't accept any liability for any accident that might happen as a result of same.

  1. Does Minogue furniture sell gift vouchers?

Yes, and they last indefinitely i.e. there are no time constrains on their use/validity.

  1. What quality guarantee do I get with my purchase?

The goods sold by Minogue Furniture are warranted free from defects on materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from date of delivery - this does not cover normal wear and tear or damage sustained by the goods subsequent to delivery.

Every customer receives a cash sales receipt when purchasing furniture from Minogue Furniture, and our "Terms and conditions of sale are printed on the back of your receipt. Please read these conditions carefully, and retain your receipt in a safe place.

  1. Is there a delivery charge?

Deliveries throughout Country Tipperary are free of charge - for longer distances please enquire in store.
